The dodge/parry/gun-parry idea is good. But the drifter control ruins the gameplay. The parry window is awful, the blocking is not instantaneous (blocking is but there's a 0.5s delay before the game allows you to cancel blocking). Your gun can only fire once for some reason when you are using melee.
